Privacy Policy

Your privacy and security are our top priorities

Thank you for using our Stream Deck plugin! Your privacy is incredibly important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Current Data Collection

We believe in keeping things simple. Currently, this plugin does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, usage data, or telemetry.

What This Means

We literally cannot see your data. Your API tokens, your dashboards, your metrics—none of it passes through our servers. Everything stays on your machine, encrypted and secure.

Future Data Collection & Telemetry

In the future, we may introduce basic telemetry or analytics to help us understand how the plugin is being used and how we can improve it (for example, to identify which features are most popular or to track down software bugs).

If and when we decide to implement any data collection, we promise to adhere to the following principles:

Third-Party Services

Because this plugin runs within the Elgato Stream Deck environment, your use of the plugin is also subject to Elgato's own privacy policy and data collection practices. We encourage you to review their policies if you have concerns about the broader Stream Deck ecosystem.

Your Grafana Data

Your plugin communicates directly with your own Grafana instance. We never see, store, or access any of your Grafana data, dashboards, or metrics. The communication is direct from your Stream Deck to your Grafana server.

Security & Encryption

Your API tokens are secured with AES-256 bit encryption, one of the most secure encryption standards available. This is military-grade encryption used by governments and financial institutions worldwide.

We recommend using read-only service accounts for maximum security. This ensures that even if a token is compromised, the damage is limited to read-only access to your dashboards.
